What We DO
The World Is Increasingly Young & Urban
42% of the global population is under 25 years old, and chances are they are growing up in large cities. Growing up multi-ethnic and urban has meant a shared suffering of issues like lack of access to good education and jobs, single-family households, discrimination, and a cycle of self-hate.
We DEVELOP URBAN Leaders THAT Change Lives of Youth
UYWI is developing and training the next generation of leaders who operate on the front lines in urban centers in the lives of youth. We identify leadership potential and teach them methods for increasing their impact.
Excellent Leaders CREATE True Transformation
Systemic racism, poverty, gun violence, human trafficking, and fatherlessness are solved through those who are closest to it. Our leaders are improving the lives of the young people they work with, and the world around them.
